Richter was contracted to support STORY Contracting with the delivery of temporary works designs, enabling the removal of the existing, life expired bridge deck and the installation of the new permanent bridge deck comprised of precast concrete units.
All temporary works designs were subject to the Network Rail technical approval process, requiring Form 002 and 003, which were independently checked by our the team based in Exeter - demonstrating full independence for the Category 2 check.
We supported our client, providing economic solutions and working collaboratively with the demolition sub-contractor and Kirow crane supplier. This all ensuring an integrated design and check could be performed, capturing key interfaces throughout the implementation stage.
