We are thrilled to announce that Andrew Lowe, our Technical Director, has been elected a Fellow of The Institution of Structural Engineers.
Andy joined Richter as an Associate Director in March 2021 and has been actively contributing ever since. Now occupying the role of Technical Director at our Huddersfield office, and having achieved his Fellowship with ICE last November, he expressed his joy, stating, “I am truly delighted and honoured to have been elected a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers. This distinction underscores my commitment to the specialised area of temporary works engineering. I hope to use this platform to highlight the importance of early consideration of temporary works and buildability within the structural engineering community. I am committed to mentoring others and promoting excellence and innovation in structural engineering”.
Paul Boddy, Group Technical Director at Richter, one of Andy’s sponsors commended Andy, saying, "Andy consistently demonstrates his strength as a Person and Technical Leader. Sometimes it's difficult to find the evidence as a sponsor but not with Andy and to be honest the forms pretty much completed themselves. Looking forward to working with you in 2024 and beyond."
Congratulations Andy from the entire Richter team.
