Richter had the privilege of sponsoring two awards at this years’ Leeds College of Building BIG Awards 2022.
Hosted at Leeds United Football Clubs’ Centenary Square venue, the event celebrated the achievements of students over the 2021/2022 academic year. Winners are chosen not only for their academic successes, but also for going the 'extra mile', overcoming adversity, and excelling in studies or at national competitions.
It is no secret that Apprenticeships have significant benefits for both employees and employers, and the development of our apprentices are a testimony to the partnerships we have with education providers such as LCB.
John Holmes, Senior Design Engineer for Richter said, "Witnessing the awards being presented to the winners of the various categories was an absolute pleasure, and we hope that these rising stars of our industry embrace their fantastic careers they have ahead of them”.
We have several apprentices across the Richter group at various stages of learning, it's always encouraging to witness their capabilities growing from strength to strength. There is a shortage of skilled all-round temporary works engineers in the industry, and it gives us great pleasure to inspire each of them to work within our specialist field of engineering.
